I was the sole developer on this project and took on every aspect of the process myself, except for the creation of SFX. I created the level and game design, the models, the shaders, the scripts (C#), etc. in Unity, Autodesk Maya and Photoshop. I learned a lot about project management, Unity, C# and shaders.
This was my first finished game project, created for a small game jam. There's a lot of things I would change if I would do the same project over again, but I am pretty proud with how the game turned out. The game is essentially a backrooms-inspired horror game, where you play with two people on one computer: one player controls the movement, the other the mouse. The design of the game revolves around being a cameraman and the controls reflect this: you turn around in a constant motion, as if you were pivoting your camera for a good shot. The game is unique in the fact that the movement is controlled with the mouse and the camera is panned by the player controlling the keyboard. These controls feel counter-intuitive if you're playing singleplayer, but feel creepy when playing together.
